Since 2023, Gary Starr Creative has worked alongside Fantasy Island and the Mellors creative build team to develop and deliver Fear Island’s Halloween experiences.
Our involvement spans attraction concepts, stories and scripts, performer recruitment, training and rehearsals, costume and character development, event management and creative marketing. From family-friendly Halloween adventures to intense theatrical horror, we help bring every part of the experience together.
With attractions including The Ravenous, 9 Circles and SNAP, this collaboration has earned recognition for imaginative concepts, outstanding performances and memorable scare experiences.
Further nominations include Best Original Concept and Idea for 9 Circles in 2025 and SNAP in 2026, Best Theme Park Event for Fear Island at ScareCON in 2026, and Best Roaming Characters at the 2026 Thrill Nation Halloween Awards.

For the past 11 years, Gary Starr Creative has provided dedicated show teams, bespoke productions, installations and walkabout entertainment for Yorkshire Wildlife Park.
From Easter adventures and Halloween celebrations to Night at the Zoo, we bring stories, characters and live performance into the visitor experience. Our work spans shows created especially for the park, seasonal events and encounters that invite families to become part of the entertainment.
